The Secret Commitment of Business Owners with Longevity

We are meant to smash through limits and barriers right?

Absolutely!

I love working with business owners because they have all overcome limiting expectations and barriers.

But

Today I am going to tell you that you need to embrace some limits.

Why?

Because we need you to show up today, tomorrow, and the day after that, and the next day, and the next…

You need to maintain vibrance, enthusiasm, belief and effort over the long run. You don’t plan on reaching your peak today. You are getting better and better. The longer you stay in the game, the more results are going to go your way.

Elite athletes know this and spend huge amounts of time and money on their recovery, not just their workouts.

The good news is that you don’t need ice baths… you just need to disconnect from work regularly.

Immediate Action:

  1. Set a finish time for today’s work. You must adhere to it.

  2. This will cause you to take your work day more seriously, because you know there is a firm deadline for the day's work.

  3. When you hit that deadline, declare out loud: “I am shutting down for the day, I have done enough”.

Go connect with people you love, eat some good food, do some exercise… basically go do something other than work.

Start investing in your recovery.

I would love to hear about your end of day routine if you have one!
