Systems = Less Stress

The human body is full of systems. The respiratory system, digestive system, endocrine system… just to name a few.

If you had to think consciously about breathing, digesting food or producing hormones, you would not have mental space for doing anything else. Good thing our body puts these processes on ‘auto-pilot’.

Just like us, our businesses need systems to thrive.

A lack of systems is the most common reason business owners feel like they are always ‘putting out fires’ or 'starting from scratch'.

Immediate Action:

Start small, and try it on your morning routine:

  1. Choose a decision you need to make every morning. Eg. What to wear, what to have for breakfast, what time to start work.

  2. Make the decision the night before.

  3. Make the decision final before you go to bed. Eg. put you clothes or breakfast out, set an alarm for 30min before work starts.

A morning routine like this forms a basic system that kickstarts your workday on a high note, unburdened by decision fatigue.
